A super easy, super delicious and more importantly gut healing chocolate mousse recipe you’ll be making again and again….great for adults and kids alike!!
Slippery Elm is from the inner bark of the slippery elm and has been used as an amazing healing herbal remedy since the 19th century because it’s been shown to treat a number of digestive issues including relieving constipation. It contains mucilage, a substance that becomes a slick gel when mixed with water (great for mousse!) and this coats and soothes the mouth, throat, stomach and intestines. It’s also ideal for sore throats, coughs, reflux, crohns disease, ulcerative colitis, IBS, diverticulitis and diarrhea. It contains heaps of antioxidants and is also great for external skin conditions.
Adding a probiotic adds beneficial bacteria to the mousse helping to repopulate the gut with good bacteria for overall health and wellness….win, win!!
